As Global Scouse Day gets into full swing today, we're bringing you a behind the scenes video of the amazing cocktail competition to find the city's best drink to wash down yer Scouse.
The cocktail competition was hosted by the inimitable Jonny Bongo at Berry & Rye with bar maestro Danny Murphy, Laura "Pasta-hair" Worthington and Alan Cross on the judging panel.
Global Scouse Day organiser Laura Worthington said: "Ireland's got St Paddy's Day, The Scots have got Burns Night and we just wanted something similar - so Global Scouse Day was born.
"There's no better way to celebrate than for everyone to make a home made pot of Scouse and celebrate with family and friends.
"And the cocktails are a great way to compliment a great tasting dish."
The winner was Joe Wild from Jenny's Bar - watch the short video here, with a longer version of the whole competition to follow shortly.
For all things Scouse, make sure you get down to the mammoth Scouse Off at the Bridewell this afternoon which will see Ricky Tomlinson, the City Mayor and other big bellied spud eaters pick out the city's best plate of Scouse.
Huzzah la!
