Award winning Liverpool based hairdressing chain Voodou has once again had a stylist earn the crown of one of the UK's very best hair stylists.

Wez Parry grabbed top spot in the ‘Female Fashion Look – Cut and Finish’ category in the National Hairdressing Federations renowned national floor competition, Britain’s Best.

On Sunday 19 November, Wez competed against stylists from across the country to create a look whilst being judged by an expert panel. With a record number of entries across the nine categories, this year’s Britain’s Best was bigger and better than ever, making the Voodou Stylists win even more impressive.

NHF president Agnes Leonard said: “Britain’s Best is a highlight in the calendars of stylists and barbers across the country. This year did not disappoint - the level of talent from across the UK hotly contesting the top spot was outstanding, so Wez should be proud of this huge achievement.”

Voodou MD Rob Webb added “We are delighted for Wez that he has picked up this award – a just reflection of his talent and hard work. Once again we are proving that stylists from Liverpool are among the best in the country”.

Britain’s Best took place at the VOX Conference Centre in Birmingham on Sunday 19 November.
