With Christmas time just around the corner, Leasowe Castle is preparing a dining and dancing offering ideal for celebrating the festivities in style.

Devised with those planning a social shindig, an office do or a group gathering amongst friends in mind, the luxury 16th century hotel is providing an consortium of events guaranteed to add the ‘merry’ to ‘merriments’.

Guests will enjoy a three-course set menu comprising both classic and contemporary yuletide flavours alongside novelties, crackers and the chance to dance the night away in its unique and authentic castle setting.

Operations Manager at Leasowe Castle Joseph Williamson said: “Since our Christmas offering was unveiled earlier in the year, it has certainly been ‘all systems go’ at Leasowe Castle as we prepare to provide the perfect setting for a gathering of friends and family who are looking to celebrate and embrace the festive fun.

“The highlight of the yuletide calendar for many is the chance to let loose, have fun and reflect on the previous year with friends, family and loved ones close by. The ‘most wonderful time of the year’ is centred around eating, drinking and partying and we hope to spread the Christmas cheer with our host of events. Following the appointment of our new head chef, our seasonal menus are more spectacular than ever before and it is not just the food that will delight! We will be utilising the grandeur of the castle by going ‘all out’ with festive décor to truly capture the magic of Christmas.”

Evenings will commence at The Castle’s in-house Knights Cocktail Bar, followed by a delectable three-course dinner with drinks and dancing until late.

Devised by new Head Chef Andrew Wright, the festive menu will begin with starter options of Ham Hock & Thyme Roasted Chicken Terrine with Homemade Piccalilli and Crisp Bread or Cumin Roasted Carrot & Butternut Squash Soup. For mains, diners can enjoy Roast Breast of English Turkey with Orange & Cranberry Stuffing, Roasted Potatoes, Winter Roots & Sprouts or Baked Pastry of Spinach with Butternut Squash, Caramelised Onion & Cheshire Cheese with Root Vegetable & Rocket Salad with Spiced Tomato Relish. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy Festive Frangipane with Mulled Wine Syrup and Vanilla Ice Cream or Chocolate & Hazelnut Brownie with White Chocolate & Baileys Sauce, followed by tea, coffee and mints.

Joseph added: “Here at the castle, the festivities are not just confined to our party nights – throughout December our events calendar is jam packed full of yuletide favourites including Festive Afternoon Tea, Festive Lunches, The Untold Story of Mrs Claus, Musical Spectacular and even a Christmas Day dinner. We’re looking forward to celebrating with all of our guests this festive season.”

Party Nights taking place on Sundays through to Thursday are priced at £32.50 per person while Party Nights taking place on a Friday or Saturday are priced at £37.50 per person.
