Posthumous releases can often be hit and miss. Lioness : Hidden Treasures is both. A collection of covers, alternate takes and unreleased demos that make you wish for the never released third album.

But long time collaborators Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi have stepped in on production to ensure the album never strays too far from the soul-baring Amy who sang from a place beyond her years, which her fans adore.

Cameos appear in the form of Queensbridge rapper Nas, on the eery Smoke, and smooth crooner Tony Bennett on Amy's final studio recorded track, Body & Soul.

But the standout tracks are where Winehouse was left to her own devices. Between the Cheats is a brooding, soulful effort that was a glimpse of her Back to Black brilliance.

Whether it's on the reggae tinged Our Day Will Come or the sensuous Wake Up Alone, there is plenty on this LP to cherish.

There are covers in the form of another reworking of the Zutons' Valerie and Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, that get the full Winehouse treatment.

The slight unfinished feel to most of the tracks adds to the knowledge that, at 27 years old, Amy died far too young.
