The Masque has become a firm favourite in the eyes of Liverpool's music lovers and last night the great and the good partied hard to celebrate the venue's 10th birthday.
Calvin Harris got things off with a bang on a great remix of Martin Solveig's Hello, echoing the summer vibes from the crowd and Flashback reminded them of his dance anthem credentials.
Then he got medieval with Fatboy Slim - Praise you.
Calvin (circa 2008) was Purple Revolver's top party beast... but he has been de-throned by electro ninja Steve Aoki.
Giving love to the Miami sound machine, Calvin passed over the wheels of steel and our new favourite party beast Steve really got the revellers grooving.
Pouring only the best champagne Veuve Clicquot on the maddening crowd, he got them sparkling before jumping on the front rows and rocking the mic.
