Mainstream pop-punk sensations You Me At Six immortalise thumb wrestling with a new iPhone application themed around album 'Hold Me Down.'

The 'Hold Me Down' game features unique, intuitive controls that mimic real life thumb wrestling.

Test your skills against a computer opponent, battle your friends on a single iPhone or use Bluetooth networking for the ultimate dual iPhone face-off!

The game is integrated with the OpenFeint platform - so the more points you get, the greater chance you have of receiving exclusive You Me At Six goodies.

You can select any member of the band, so if you've ever wanted to take on the world as Josh, pitch Max and Chris against each other in a six-string showdown, or see Matt and Dan in a rhythm section rumble, here's your chance!

This highly amusing app costs £1.19, visit the iTunes App Store to download:

Last seen as guests on Paramore's arena trek, You Me At Six's increasing rep as one of the nation's most renowned emerging bands is set to be solidified with a UK tour that concludes with a landmark performance at Brixton Academy on March 20th.

YM@S have been confirmed as one of the acts to play HMV's music festival 'Next Big Thing'. The show is set to kick off at the Relentless Garage on Feb 8th. Earlier in the day, catch 'em playing a one-off acoustic set and meet them in the flesh at their signing at HMV Oxford Circus.

Tickets, priced at £10 in advance, are available from www.hmvnextbigthing.com or from the box office 0844 847 1678.
