Alyssa Reid releases the follow up to the smash hit single Alone Again with her second release The Game on the 2nd September.

Taken from her highly anticipated debut album, this release sees Alyssa team up with Snoop Dogg and deliver an upbeat powerful melody that has all the hallmarks of another huge record from this rising new talent.

Part pop-star, part angst-ridden teen, Alyssa Reid is only 18. Just last year she was still working in a coffee shop and graduating from her Brampton Ontario high school where she was a dedicated player on the girl’s rugby team.

2012 has seen this determined and talented Canadian songstress top the music charts with her hit Alone Again.

Alone Again saw a meteoric rise for Alyssa Reid up the Canadian airplay and singles sales charts, making Alyssa Reid the most played Canadian artist in the country and placing her at the top of Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart for an astounding 26 consecutive weeks and attracting, coverage from coast to coast.

A multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, she discovered her gift for song-writing aged seven, self-taught on guitar and piano and quickly developed her incredibly powerful voice into what has today become a singular vocal style.

Following her remarkable achievements in Canada, Alyssa scored a number 1 hit in the UK with Alone again selling over 300,000 copies.

Her fresh sound, distinctive vocal and unprecedented rise has created a new pop star. With the release of this second single, Alyssa Reid looks set to achieve her ambitions of worldwide success.

With all the makings of a female pop icon Alyssa’s compelling and distinct voice is sure to carve her a spot in contemporary pop, placing her centre stage for an international audience, and cementing her reputation as Canada’s hottest musical export since Justin Bieber.
