British soul diva Amy Winehouse is top of the UK album charts with her posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures, and the extravagant singer was not one to do things by halves when it came to Christmas.
As she proved by blowing almost £18,000 on Christmas decorations in a six-hour shopping spree at Selfridges, London, back in 2009.
The singer shelled out £18,000 on Christmas decorations which she used to deck out her Camden home for a mammoth festive party. Her haul included singing Santas, musical lights and moving reindeers.
She paid for all the decorations to be installed in her north London home to avoid the nightmare of having to wire up all the lighting herself.
