Ladytron at St Georges Hall, Liverpool pictures

They are respected amongst their peers and came home to Liverpool for their only show in the North of England.

St Georges Hall was the opulent setting for this exclusive Ladytron show as the foursome proved their electro calibre.

There was an air of anticipation as the crowd waited for the band to step out on to the high stage which is surrounded by the gallery.

At the end of their third song, the crowd ditch their seats and move all the way to the front of the stage with a sway and a swagger.

The band began life just over a decade ago and have released four magnificent albums, more recently a hefty best of album. But this does not spell the end, as album number five is set for release in September.
