Weezy is back. We’ve had a possible tracklist, a possible album cover (Check the main photo) and a certain first single/video/bona-fide banger; If I Die Today.
Joined on his first single by Hustlin’ rapper Rick Ross, Wayne jumps around a dry-iced tyre lot, it’s dark, heavy and worthy of one or two head nods.
The Carter IV has been pushed back till June, possibly due to the tracklist being leaked online, but as yet there has been no confirmation of this from the Lollipop man’s camp.
The album cover, which shows a small boy in graduation gear, sporting all of Weezy’s familiar face tats, also leaked. Again there is no confirmation that this is the actual artwork, but fingers crossed it is.
