Following a hugely successful UK tour and triumphant London headline show at the 02 in December, Placebo are pleased to announce that they will be joining the bill at this year’s Sonisphere Festival.
Placebo join Iron Maiden, Rammstein and Slayer at the Knebworth festival on the weekend of July 30th – 1st August.
Having already had an incredible year which has seen the band play to over 1 million people across the globe and pick up MTV EMA’s Best Alternative Act award, Placebo are also set to release a new version of ‘Bright Lights’, mixed by Dave Bascombe (Soulwax, Goldfrapp, LadyHawke and Funeral For A Friend) on February 8th.
Their crtically acclaimed album ‘Battle For The Sun’ has sold over half a million sales worldwide as Placebo have proved themselves to be just as relevant as they ever were.
