Rock legends Queens of the Stone Age are set to rock out large with a very special intimate festival warm up show at O2 Academy Bournemouth on June, 28.

Ahead of their slot at the mighty Rock Werchter festival in Belgium, golden voiced guitar God Josh Homme and co will play their greatest hits in the intimate setting of the South Coast venue.

QOTSA embarked on their UK and European tour this month, where they will perform their debut album in its entirety as well as b-sides from that era.

The tour is to promote the re-release of the Palm Desert band's seminal eponymous 1998 debut through Rekords Rekords/Domino, which hit stores in March, with bonus tracks.

Tickets for the O2 Academy Bournemouth show go on sale this Friday 6th May at 9am - make sure you grab your tickets early, as this is a show not to be missed.
