Fans of British dance-punk band Does It Offend You, Yeah? have had a long wait to catch them live.

With a smaller crowd than expected at the O2 Academy, Liverpool, you could have been forgiven for thinking they had been cast to the forgotten sands of time.

But the band came out with a vengence and pounded out a performance to be proud of and recapture the vigour that catapulted them into the spotlight in the first place.

They began proceedings with the phenomenal Wrestler which soon engaged the crowd – all ready to bounc around and bust their own smack down moves to it.

The lads ripped into more songs from their new album Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You.

In particular, We Are the Dead, is a massive foot-stomping anthem and was very much to the crowd’s taste and mood.

The new album and the energetic live shows prove, for sure, that Does It Offend You, Yeah? will move from exciting fresh sounds into the realm of long-standing artists, being watched in the future.
