WASSAILER delivers the heartfelt new single titled Song For Elsa

Following on from his emotionally haunting debut single ‘Son’ which garnered support from Huw Stephens at BBC Radio 1, Will Serfass aka WASSAILER has now returned to unveil the heartfelt new single ‘Song For Elsa’, taken from his highly anticipated debut full-length ‘i, the bastard’, which lands on January 27th 2021, via Empty Streets Records.

Following up the momentum he has already built thanks to the previously shared tracks ‘3 Dots In A Bubble’ and ‘242’, ‘Song For Elsa’ sees him explore a more humble and solemn side to his sound. Using little more than a wistfully-played piano and his own textured vocals at the helm, this new release looks to capture more of his tender emotions, opening himself up to his audience like never before.

Speaking about the new video, director David Bertram, who recently directed Bicep’s ‘Saku’ visuals, said, “In this music video, the female figure is an emblem. She embodies the idea of an intimate and crazy dream that we pursue but that condemns us. Through this fight against oneself, I wanted to give life to this inner struggle between hope and reason.”

‘Song For Elsa’ is available to stream now, via Empty Street Records. Forthcoming album ‘i, the bastard’ is set for release on the 27th January 2021, via Empty Street Records.
