Piqued Jacks return with the soaring new single titled Elephant

Following on from the enormous success of their recently released singles ‘Every Day Special’ and ‘Golden Mine’ in recent months, the former of which gathered airplay on BBC Radio Wales, Kerrang Radio, Soho Radio and Amazing Radio UK, as well as being added to the ‘Just Discovered’ section of MTV New Generation Italy, Italian outfit Piqued Jacks have now returned to continue the support for their upcoming new album ‘Synchronizer’ with the soaring new offering ‘Elephant’, out now via INRI.

Produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Bury Tomorrow), recorded at L’Esagono Studio in Rubiera (RE), Italy, and mixed at Silk Mill Studios in Stoke, ‘Elephant’ sees the band take on one of their most anthemic releases to date. It is passionate, positive, and is amplified by a heavy dose of powerful and evocative stadium alt-rock. This is a track that celebrates those who know how to construct their personal relationships, who learn from the lessons of past failures, and who use the experiences of lost loves as a stronger building block for the next story, the right one.

With a reflection in a pond Lunatico synchronizes two souls and merges them into an image of an animal, to symbolize walking side by side. This is how the Brazilian surrealist continues his visual tale, and how the Piqued Jacks continue in their philosophy of small gestures; like the step toward entering the pond, which, though seemingly insignificant, might lead to growing old together.

Just before Christmas, Piqued Jacks performed an exclusive live performance for their fans on Facebook. The event dubbed ‘Synchronight’ featured special guests, unseen performances of some forthcoming releases, and was watched by more than 17,000 people.
