We Don’t Get More Time is the third single from I SEE RIVERS debut album which is due out for an independent release in 2020 with support from PRS Momentum Fund, PRS Women Make Music, BBC Launchpad and their dedicated fans through Kickstarter.

The newest track is a comment on the global warming crisis that is impacting our world today. It’s anthemic, poignant message and haunting swarming vocals correlates with the percussive march of a ticking clock and alarm bells.

“Climate change surrounds us all. Seeing how much the glacier ice has melted right outside our window in Norway has been a shocking eye-opener for us, and people are affected in so many different ways wherever they are. This song formed from fear of all these changes and knowing that so many people in power are ignoring the problem.” – I SEE RIVERS.

There has been endless enthusiasm for I SEE RIVERS from Wonderland, Line Of Best Fit, Earmilk, The 405 and Clash and radio support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X and Amazing Radio as well as countless Spotify Playlists including ‘New Music Friday UK’, ‘New Music Friday Norway’, ‘Indielist’ and ‘Nordic Folk’ to name a few. The band have become a favourite for live sessions with numerous national TV and radio performances including two Mahogany Sessions, COVERS, BBC 2’s Rockfield Sessions and most recently as guests with a live performance on Channel 4’s primetime breakfast show, Sunday Brunch.

The multi-instrumentalist Scandi ‘float-pop’ trio are renowned for encapsulating audiences with their interweaving harmonies and distinctive Nordic sound which over time has evolved with heavier production and indie-electronic influences. This newest single is another exciting glimpse into how I SEE RIVERS have grown over the years with unforgettable hooks that continue to draw in audiences from all over the world.

Eline (Keys, vocals, percussion), Gøril (guitar, vocals, drum pad) and Lill (drums, vocals) have toured extensively, selling out shows with highly acclaimed performances alongside the likes of Cosmo Sheldrake, Newton Faulkner, showcases with Communion and captivating audiences at festivals such as The Great Escape, Bergenfest and Green Man. Their synchronised, blended vocal arrangements and flawless instrumentation has them renowned as a must-see live act.

Although they are all originally from Norway, the girls met in Liverpool while studying and have recently moved to Pembrokeshire in Wales after falling in love with the Welsh coastline during the recording of their first EP in ‘StudiOwz’. Their new musical soundscape has them compared to a mix between Fleet Foxes and Haim, vocal and musical tranquillity with a foot stomping-pop twist.

I SEE RIVERS are currently working on their much-anticipated debut album with Owain Jenkins, Toby Couling, Alec Brits and Emilie Krogh Johannessen back at ‘Studiowz’ in the newly renovated Carmel Chapel for a release in 2020.
