Kate Bush sold out all 22 dates of her forthcoming series of live shows in London, in under 15 minutes.
There was an overwhelmimg clamour for tickets to see Kate return to the stage, which is understandble since she hasn’t performed since 1979.
The tickets sold through her website, and Kate later released a statement thanking her fans for the great affection.
Kate Bush returns to the live arena at Hammersmith Apollo, 35 years after her last performance at the same venue.
She has also said that she is looking forward to performing live again, now that her son Bertie is 16, which she always gave as her reason for staying out of the spotlight all these years.
The shows will take place at London’s Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith, starting on August 26.
Kate said this morning: “I’m completely overwhelmed by the response to the shows. Thank you so much to everyone. Looking forward to seeing you all later this year”.
