After his run of UK dates throughout October, one to watch in 2016, rising UK singer-songwriter Louis Berry releases his new single ‘Restless’ on Household Records impacting 11th November.
A highlight of his live shows, ‘Restless’ is already catching fire at radio with ‘Tune of the Week’ on Annie Mac and ‘New Favourite Thing’ on Jo Whiley’s Radio 2 show. The track was written by Louis, produced by Steve Fitzmaurice (Sam Smith, Metronomy, Circa Waves) and sees Louis’ endearingly raspy voice take centre stage. With a driving beat and gutsy guitar, this up-tempo tune perfectly captures the mood of its title.
The brilliant accompanying video is directed by Finn Keenan (Nicole and 45. Videos) and was shot in a town outside of Dublin called Cavan.
With critical acclaim already coming from tastemaker heavyweights including Radio 1 (Huw Stephens, Clara Amfo, Greg James), Radio X, Virgin Radio, Zane Lowe, NME, VICE, The Guardian and Clash, Louis preaches firebrand rock n roll anthems crafted from the alleyways of Liverpool.
Louis has just finished his own headline UK tour and played the BBC Introducing stage at One Big Weekend. He is currently working on his debut LP in Nashville and London and it will be released in 2017.
