Disney has banned Rum Diary star Johnny Depp from talking about his new film it has been reported.
Depp has had to be tight lipped at the Austin Film Festival as Disney, who own ABC and several ABC-owned stations, banned their affiliates from talking to Depp about the Rum Diary as they feared it would overshadow their Pirates of the Caribean franchise.
A clause in the Fear and Loathing star's contract stopped any ABC related station from interviewing him or filming him at the event.
The Rum Diary will be released on the 4th November
