Jurassic Systems lets fans re-enact famous hacking scene

Jurassic Park fans will remember the scene in the film where Samuel L Jackson tries to hack into Wayne Knight's computer in order to stop the onslaught that will undoubtedly come with the raptor's release.

This is then followed by a taunting image of Dennis Nedry. 'You didn't say the magic word!'

If you have ever watched that scene and thought to yourself, 'I could do a better job than that, no problem.' Then here is your chance to prove yourself (as long as you don't scour the internet and find all the answers before having a go.)

Jurassic Systems is a complete copy of the OS and command-line program seen in the film and allows users to try and get past the system's security in order to save themselves from the ravenous dinos.

The website was developed by Tully Robinson and contains only five commands in order to help you try to access the main security grid, all of which can be accessed if you type in the word 'help'. If not, the novelty of acting out Samuel L Jackson's lines is never going to wear off, so everybody is a winner.

If you are able to beat the system, you will unlock some bonus features in order to add to your success.

When you visit the website, you will be asked to refresh your memory and re-watch the scene that inspired the website and then you are given full control, entering commands just as Samuel L Jackson does.

We have all dreamt one time or another about Jurassic Park becoming a real life thing, and if not to come a little bit closer to that dream, it's worth visiting the page and having a go!
