BBC comedy star Tom Hollander has spoken of his pleasure at being slaughtered by British movie hottie Gemma Arterton in new Vampire flick Byzantium.

Byzantium is tipped to spin the horror movie genre on its head with a tale about a mother and daughter vampire duo.

Tom, 45, who plays the lead in the BBC sitcom Rev, fails to ward off Gemma’s evil vampire and gets eaten alive.

Tom Hollander, who also appears in the Pirates of the Caribbean films said: “I was eaten by Gemma and as far as deaths go, I was very pleased to do it.

“I think that’s a fairly good way to go.”
