Interpol have released their new single Barricade from their forthcoming self-titled album online.
The track will feature on the band's fourth LP which is due out some time in Septemberaccording to early reports. The song follows the earlier release of Lights which the band gave away via their official website.
The track has a bit more post-punk spunk than the balladry emitted on Lights, and sounds essentially like a bridge between the leftover tracks off 2001 debut Turn on The Bright Lights and the follow-up sophomore album Antics.
Interpol have also confirmed that they will be heading out on tour around the UK in November. For ticket information check out their official site here:
