Daft Punk on the verge of a comeback according to Amazon

This is a rumour that seems to re-emerge every other week and is maybe more to do with the wishful thinking of fans than concrete reports, but global brand Amazon have hinted that Daft Punk are set to return with a new album.

The French electro artists are said to be ready to release the new album which could be released in November, according to Amazon.

The online retailer have suggested that the famously-private French duo have penned the soundtrack for upcoming film Tron: Legacy, which will be made available on November 23 in North America.

But the band’s official website are holding their cards close to their chest as usual and no announcement has been made by the duo or their record label so far regarding a new release.

The band have been off the radar since their last full length release in 2005 with Human After All and a new album or tour would cause something of a commotion amongst fans and electro bods.
