Carey Mulligan uses the Queen's photographer for her wedding

It has been revealed that Carey Mulligan asked Ian Rankin, famous society photographer, to capture a unique viewpoint of her wedding to folk-rock singer Marcus Mumford.

Rankin is the Queen's official photographer.

The Hollywood actress commissioned Rankin to capture the ceremony on a barn at Stream Farm in Bridgwater, Somerset last month.

Celebrity guests included Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal and Colin Firth.

It's thought that the bride wore a white, backless Versace dress for the occasion and Marcus was spotted driving himself to the farm wearing Ray Ban sunglasses.

Carey's bridesmaids - all eight of them - wore turquoise knee-length prom dresses with blue high heels.
