Blur front man Damon Albarn has revealed the legendary Brit Pop band are discussing the possibility of getting back together for a longer stint.

The 42-year-old has revealed a reunion in 2011 is a distinct possibility after fresh talks.

Blur closed Glastonbury in epic fashion in 2009 and their fans have been clamouring for a tour and new material ever since.

Damon said: “We did talk about doing something in January. Something small, no career based world domination ideas.”

The Park Life singer is currently on his Escape To Plastic Beach tour with his other band Gorillaz, who have also experienced great success since their inception in '98.

A new album and tour will obviously be on the cards so long as Blur’s other original band members can come to an agreement, these include guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree.
